We asked personalities for their gift wish lists.
Daithi O'Se likes practical gifts and, although he was warned off by friends and family, his choice of a Nintendo DS (€149.99) as a stocking filler for his girlfriend, Sharon, went down a treat last year.
"For my gift, I'd love to receive an iPod (€229) and would enjoy downloading my favourite music. My ultimate gift would be season tickets for Croke Park and to see Kerry win the All Ireland," says the optimistic Dingleman.
"I hate to see presents being returned so I don't buy clothes for Sharon.unless she has dropped some hints. I enjoy buying her stocking fillers, and I will be getting her more jewellery this year."

"My sister knew I wanted the book, I Am Terry and she tracked it down for me. That was special," says Daithi. "I like giving and receiving books. My mum is the hardest person to buy for; she says she has everything she needs so I'm giving her dollars for when she goes to America."
