The new year is suddenly upon us and the sales are still in full swing. Being addicted as I am to picking up a bargain, I headed online to see what was out there.
Despite the current cold snap, I've managed to find myself basking in the warm glow of the January dress sales. I found everything from a discount Alexander McQueen dress to a perfectly symmetrical 80's power smock for a bargain €20 and, if I do say so myself, I'm quite impressed with the results.
Here's my selection of the best dresses from the January sales:

What we found: Alexander McQueen strapless bustier dress reduced from £2126 to £567.
Marc by Marc Jacobs Silk Ruffle Dress reduced from €340 to €238.
Silk Bandeau Maxi Dress by Heidi Klein - reduced from €290 to €203.
Dianne Von Faustenburg satin dress with 50s detailing and back bows - reduced from €582 to €282

What we found: Leonara Bubble Dress reduced from €175 to €95.
Freya Dress was €148 now €45

Reductions: 50% off on selected items. If you're shopping generally, All Saints have an excellent selection in the Vintage section.
What we found: Alyassi Long dress was €295 reduced to €147.
Sarasota dress in white (beware the colour of your costume jewellery before taking the plunge ) - reduced from €75 to €30.
Maeva LBD reduced from £85 to £25

Blue Frill Belt Dress by Malene Birger was £220 now £55:00
Calvin Klein Black Cap sleeve dress - reduced from £715 to £357.50
