Oscar-winning Reese Witherspoon stood helplessly as two paparazzi slugged it out after spotting the Hollywood superstar in Brentwood, California.
The snappers snapped as they battled to get the best shot of the actress, who quickly called the cops.
The Legally Blonde star, who this week launched her new perfume In Bloom, then decided to get one back on the the two paparazzi goons by telling the LAPD she would be "happy to cooperate" with any investigation.
50 Cent is another star looking to cash in by launching his own fragrance, Power. But it seems the rapper and actor needs to boost his bank balance after revealing the recession has taken a chunk out of his $442m fortune. Indeed, 50 Cent intends to trim back on his lavish purchases.
So, if you are feeling the recession, it could be worth taking his advice -- "I buy diamonds on a very regular basis, but now I am selling my old stuff before I get something new." Sounds quite reasonable, I suppose.
