Victoria Beckham will reportedly give birth on July 4, to mark her dedication to America.
The date is one of the biggest holidays in the country’s calendar as it is US Independence Day.
Victoria, husband David and their sons Brooklyn, 12, Romeo, eight, and six-year-old Cruz moved Stateside in 2007 when David joined soccer team LA Galaxy. They have thoroughly settled in the country and regularly talk about how much they love life over there.
The couple are currently expecting a baby girl, and it’s been claimed they plan to incorporate their love of America into her birth. It was originally thought she would have the baby in London to be close to her family, but Victoria has reportedly now decided to welcome her daughter into the world in Los Angeles, and has already booked a house for all her relatives to stay in.
“It's going to be a massive family affair in America. While the date hasn't changed, it was decided an LA clinic would be best for the immediate family,” a source told British newspaper The Sun.
“Vic and David love America, its culture and her people, who have welcomed them with open arms.
“The most important thing is the health of mother and baby and things can always change last minute. But if it's possible for the baby to be born on Independence Day, Vic and David will be thrilled.”
The birth isn’t the only thing the pair plan to link to America. They are also thought to be considering a US-style name, with Atlanta the current favourite.
“David wanted a name that was relevant to their lives during the conception,” the source explained.
