Robbie may have Come Undone midair, but he's going Strong

A STAR renowned for his arrogance, Robbie Williams won't be forgetting this fall from grace anytime soon.
Shortly after smugly telling fans in Dublin that he wasn't bothering to rejoin his former band Take That for its comeback tour because he had a "hugely successful tour" of his own to do, the cocky star was forced to eat his words after he was left dangling 100ft in the air during his encore.
The Stoke-on-Trent singer became trapped on an illuminated gangplank just as his Croke Park sellout performance reached its climax on Friday night with his performance of Let Me Entertain You.
A gondola attached to the framework that was designed to lower him on to the stage had become stuck.
Captivating
While the mortified star promised to make amends by returning with a free gig, Dublin is a place that Robbie Williams will undoubtedly want to forget.
But, leaving aside that embarrassing faux pas, Williams gave an impressive and highly captivating performance at this start of his European tour.
Amid a fireworks display, pillars of lights and geysers of smoke, he showcased his vocal range with performances of old material and new songs from his latest album, Intensive Care.
While some of the 80,000 fans seemed slightly irked by the fact that he hauled his old schoolmate and struggling pop star Jonathan Wilkes on to the stage for the Sinatra hit Me and My Shadow, the audience soon rose when Williams he strutted around the stage as the band struck up Strong, Come Undone and Back for Good.
