Prince Albert II of Monaco and his wife Princess Charlene were out and about yesterday attending a ceremony at the Monegasque Red Cross in Monte Carlo.
It is understood that Prince Albert will attend several events before Monaco's National Day tomorrow.
Earlier this month the princess went on record for the first time about reports that she tried to leave the principality before her wedding.
Charlene Wittstock married Prince Albert in a glittering ceremony in July.
Four months after the wedding Princess Charlene of Monaco has spoken for the first time about reports that she tried to flee the principality before their big day.
"Why would he go through all this effort to have our most intimate dearest friends come join us, for us to be reluctant?" asked the South African former Olympic swimmer.
Reports had claimed that the 33-year-old princess attempted to leave Monaco two days before the July wedding because of allegations that her fiance had fathered a third love child.
Prince Albert (53) said: "My family have long been the subject of rumours born out of jealousy."
The couple were in Ireland for a three-day state visit in April.
