HOLLYWOOD star Liam Neeson is set to star in a major new television drama about the Troubles in Northern Ireland.
Based on a true story, 'Five Minutes of Heaven' will be set in Belfast and focus on the life of Alistair Little, a 17-year-old member of the Ulster Volunteer Force.
In 1975, Little was convicted of the murder of Catholic Jim Griffin (19) in Lurgan. Mr Griffin's 11-year-old brother Joe witnessed the murder and the one-off BBC drama will look at the impact of the death on him and his family.
Neeson, who played the titular role in 'Michael Collins' is expected to confirm in the coming weeks that he will play Little as a grown man.
