I'm with Dorothy Parker on this. Time wounds all heels.
Take Irish model Sara Kavanagh. The young beauty broke up in August with her boyfriend of three years, Conor Buckley, co-manager of Krystle nightclub. September was barely through before sexy Sara took up with sports instructor Alan Byrne (not to be confused with sports guru to the stars, Pat Henry).
And now my Deep Throat in the world of Irish models tells me that Sara and Alan were out looking at houses together last week in Rathfarnham with a view to moving in together.
Far be it for me to call it indecent haste, but I'm with Bertie Ahern about exercising caution over moving in with someone. Anyway, we can all talk about it when we meet at the Cari Ball in the Shelbourne on November 14, which Bertie's estranged wife Miriam Ahern is hosting. Her beau Terry McCoy will also be attending.
Meanwhile, Miriam's publicist Tara O'Connor will be launching her company Total Management (VIP access to hip events) this Wednesday at Residence Members Club. Miriam will attend, as will Rosanna Davison, Avril Bannerton, Debbie O'Donnell, FM104's Margaret Nelson and Harmonia's Norah Casey.
Meanwhile, Niall Stokes, who looked debonair and stately at Stephen Gately's recent funeral, will be hosting Absolut Vodka Rock Edition in The Sugar Club on Tuesday.
The dapper Hot Press editor will oversee an evening that includes Talulah Does The Hula.
