Good news for Jennifer Aniston. Her ex John Mayer insists he is not writing a “tell-all” book about their relationship, despite published reports that he is.
On Wednesday last, the supermarket tab, Star Magazine, breathlessly reported that the rocker was shopping a “no-holds-barred book – including the night Jen called him ‘Brad' in bed.”
Not so, says Mayer who was branded a rat by the mag. “It is Star Magazine that is ‘the rat' and they should be ashamed of the disgusting story they've written,” a furious Mayer said in a statement.
Mayer, who embarrassed Aniston by claiming he was the one who called off their relationship when they split up for the first time earlier this year, says he has no intention of discussing what caused their most recent break-up.
Which, of course, doesn't mean he is staying quiet.
Last week Mayer twittered: “This heart didn' t come with instructions.”
Maybe John should take a leaf out of Larry King's book on dealing with pesky enquires about his love life.
Asked if there was any truth in the rumour that King had split with his wife, the CNN anchor replied that, as far as he was aware, they are still together – adding, “I slept with her last night”.
