Jane Fonda has defied her 73 years by slipping back into her 1980s leotard to promote her book.

Fonda, slipped into a red and black leotard, complete with black leggings and red leg warmers, on The Today Show as she did aerobics, while promoting her new book "Prime Time: Love, Health, Sex, Fitness, Friendship, Spirit – Making the Most of all of Your Life".
"It’s important to exercise when you’re younger," the Barbarella actress said. "But it’s like the number one ingredient for successful ageing. It makes a difference for all aspects of your life and your body.
"I’m happier now than I was before. That’s not exactly what I expected at 73."
Fonda told Matt Lauer, host of Today about her decision to have plastic surgery. She has admitted to having work on her chin, neck and under the eyes.
"I just decided I wanted to buy myself some time and look more like how I feel," she said. "Afterwards I thought, 'Oh God it's me'."
