Dawson's Creek star to divorce

James Van Der Beek is to divorce his wife of six years, court records show.
The Dawson's Creek star filed for divorce in Los Angeles, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split with actress Heather McComb.
The couple were married in July 2003 and have no children.
The 32-year-old actor recently appeared in four episodes of One Tree Hill and has starred in films such as Varsity Blues and The Rules Of Attraction.
Heather has appeared as a supporting actress in several movies and television shows.
