Cher arranged a date on a social networking site - but when they met up he thought she was a Cher impersonator, the singer and actress's co-star has reportedly claimed.
Chelsea Traille, a dancer who plays Coco in Cher's new movie Burlesque, told E! Online that the iconic star is on Facebook, and used the site to help her after she complained about having trouble meeting men while in Las Vegas for her long-running show at Caesar's Palace.
Chelsea claimed: "He thought she was an impersonator in Vegas. His friend was like, 'That's Cher you idiot!' He asked her and she was like, 'Yeah, that's me.' They met, they hang out. Now they're best friends."
Cher is currently dating comic writer Ron Zimmerman, and the pair are Facebook friends, but it is not known if they met through the site.
Chelsea was excited to work on Burlesque, which also stars Christina Aguilera, and used the opportinity to ask Cher the secret of her amazing figure.
The former So You Think You Can dance contestant revealed: "Cher walks in like a rock star. She had rock star jeans with leather crosses, hair flowing. She's fierce. Her body is bangin'. Her waist is tiny. She's a yoga master. We were all like, 'What do you do?" and she said, 'Yoga.' "
