It's been a boom year for bust-ups. Just ask Hilary Duff, who was apparently over the moon after landing the lead in the Bonnie & Clyde remake. However, the smiles almost turned to sobs when Faye Dunaway (the original Bonnie) asked: "Couldn't they at least cast a real actress?"
But Hilary pulled herself together and aimed low down and dirty by replying with claws fully extended -- "I might be mad if I looked like that now, too." Meow!
Oscar winner Jamie Foxx ruffled feathers when he asked live on his own radio show: "Who is Miley Cyrus? The one with all the gums? She needs to get a gum transplant!" He then suggested if she really wanted to be famous she should make a sex tape.
But Daddy Cyrus, Billy Ray, was none too happy at the tone nor the content of the comments and swiftly sent word that he would give Foxx an Achy, Breaky Face if he did not apologise. Foxx promptly appeared on The Jay Leno Show and said sorry.
But for some feuds, such as that between Mariah Carey and Eminem, it was business as usual. The rapper insists he bedded the singer back in 2003, while the demanding diva is adamant the duo never got jiggy with it.
But rather than slug it out in a Celebrity Death Match, the two are using their musical muscle to bash each other. Eminem called Carey a "whore" in his ditty 'Bagpipes from Baghdad' in response to Carey's 'Obsessed' in which she describes her foe as being "delusional" and says the star has a "Napoleon Complex".
Eminem, being a classy guy, threatened to leak nude photos of Mariah, who was a little on the heavy side at the time.
The rapper said that he was sending copies of the pictures to the gossip mags last August but apparently they're still printing.
