Bryce Dallas Howard has given birth to a baby girl.
The Twilight Saga star and her husband, Fringe actor Seth Gabel - who already have a four-year-old son, Theo - have named their new addition Beatrice.
Bryce's filmmaker dad Ron Howard announced the happy news on Twitter.
The Frost/Nixon director tweeted: "Beatrice Jean Howard-Gabel Born Jan 19 2012 8lbs 6oz Bryce & Baby B are spectacular, Daddy Seth & brother Theo are beaming ear to ear :-)."
He later added that the birth of Beatrice was "hugely exciting" for the whole family.
Several other celebs took to Twitter to congratulate Bryce and Seth, including actress Jennifer Connelly and The Sixth Sense director M Night Shyamalan.
Shyamalan, who directed Bryce in The Village in 2004, joked that he would be casting the baby in a film one day.
"Ron, tell Bryce congratulations from our whole family. I'll be waiting to cast Beatrice in a few years! :-)," he tweeted.
