Bank Holiday Monday, June 2, is only around the corner and plans are now fast coming into place for this year's Cork City Marathon – with entries filling up fast.
There is a special focus this year on the Team Relay – an ideal event for work colleagues to participate in. There are five stages, varying in distance from 4.5 miles to 5.8 miles.
"The 2014 Cork City Marathon is all about encouraging individuals at all levels and abilities to get involved," race director Jim O'Donovan said.
"In recent years we have developed the concept of group participation with the introduction of the Team Relay, Youth Relay and Inter-Services Championships, encouraging some healthy competition among colleagues and school mates."
The Cork City Marathon has its own Batman Relay Team. To register, please visit: www.corkcitymarathon.ie
