Follow dreams of being a poet


CARERS of older people, the sick and disabled are invited to enter into a poetry competition.

Now in its third year, the competition is being organised by Caring for Carers Ireland along with the Ennis Book Club and the Clare Three-Legged Stool Poets.

The competition theme is 'dreams'. Poems must be entrants' original work and no longer than 30 lines. Entries will be judged by the Clare Three-Legged Stool Poets.

First prize is a weekend away for two. Runner-up prizes include book tokens and admission to special events of the Ennis Book Club Festival running from March 7-9.
