Here's to A healthy FITMAS and new year!

Welcome everyone to the final edition of FIT in 2013. What a year it's been, not only for us as a magazine, but for you, our readers -- more races, record entries, the popularity of fitness in general soaring even further.

This year we launched our inaugural race series, which will continue next year, and website -- -- which we hope will continue to go from strength to strength.

Plus we featured so many of our favourite athletes, fit celebrities and even our own readers. It was a pleasure to put the magazine together every week.

However, before we get to new year resolutions and looking to 2014, there's the small matter of Christmas to get through. The season of excess has been upon us for a while, and even the most determined fall foul of the mince pies and hot toddies. But this issue is geared to keeping you active during our break.

Enjoy the festivities by all means and take some much-deserved R&R, but don't forget that the key to feeling good isn't always lounging!

Our cover stars, personal trainer James Murphy and his stunning model girlfriend Teodora Sutra, demonstrate some easy resistance moves you can do around the house in mere minutes.

Siobhan Byrne continues her quest to highlight the mistakes we all make when pursuing rock hard abs, while Daniel Davey advises on how to eat to feel great this Christmas.

We'll be back in the new year with lots of fun, fresh content.
