Amy Lynch (10) and Sophie McNulty (10) from Our Lady's National School in Clonskeagh at the launch of the 26th annual MS READaTHON as they encourage young 'book-bots' in schools around the country to read and raise funds for people with MS in their region.
The MS READaTHON is the largest school-based reading initiative in Ireland and the biggest fundraiser for MS Ireland. In 2012, more than 16,000 students in primary and secondary schools across the country took part, reading more than half a million books and raising over €600,000 for the charity. www.msreadathon.ie
