Along with the Tour de France and the Vuelta a Espana, the Giro is one of the three prestigious three week long international stage races on the Pro Tour Race calendar.
This year the three stages in Ireland take place from May 9-11 and involves routes in Belfast, around the stunning Causeway Coast and Armagh before finishing in Dublin.
