AFTER four years earning her Bachelor of Education degree, Eimear Murray (22) still lives at home with her parents despite working as a primary school teacher at St Laurence's Boys National School in Stillorgan, Dublin.
She won a one-year temporary contract last year but is considering emigrating to further her career. "My pay has been cut by 25pc just because I graduated in 2011 rather than 2010 -- I don't think it's fair. I'm teaching the exact same things as my colleagues and I get at least 10pc less. I'd like to move out but I can't afford to now and if the cuts keep on going, there's not a chance I'll be able to move out or get a mortgage."
