BROADCASTER Ryan Tubridy has added his support to the Irish Independent campaign against cyber bullying.
Tubridy said he was "very keen to highlight what is happening on the internet".
"I fully support the Irish Independent's admirable campaign to highlight the brutal reality behind bullying.
"The internet is such a lawless place, a dangerous place. I think it's the nearest thing to the wild west in this day and age," he said.
"I fear for children who are on the internet because they now take their computers to their rooms, their phones have access to all sorts of things -- it's a private world," Tubridy said.
"There was once a time when poor kids would get picked on at school but they could go home.
"Now the bullying follows them home to their bedroom. There is no peace," Tubridy added.
