Birds do it, bees do it, even educated fleas do it, but when it comes to falling in love how do celebrities fare in the chat- up stakes?

"It was a fabulously clever line," says the famous television host.
"It was no use saying to me, 'You're fabulously beautiful, come to bed.' But if you could appeal to my vanity and my having a brain as well..."

Posh Spice showed a little more balls when she said to David Beckham after the first they met: "If you don't ring me, I'm going to kick you in the b******s the next time I see you." Charming. However, Peaches Geldof keeps it simple and to the point: "Hi, my name is Peaches."
