Mystery Ontarian leaving scarves around city as temperatures drop

The mysterious acts of kindness have been left around the city of Ottawa, Ontario as temperatures threaten to drop.

The scarves have been wrapped around various monuments in the city with tags that read "I am not lost! If you are stuck out in the cold, take this scarf to keep warm!"

The scarves appeared yesterday in the city in advance of an expected plummet in the city's temperatures.

They were dotted around Wellington Street, adorning each of the statues in the 'Valiants Memorial'.

The image was posted to reddit and earned over 1,200 comments and almost 4,000 'upvotes'.
