A giant sinkhole swallows eight Corvettes at the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
Photographs released by the museum show several of the cars crashing into the gaping hole the concrete beneath the vehicles reportedly just gave way. But thankfully no one was in the museum at the time.
The Bowling Green fire department estimated the size of the sinkhole at 12m wide and 8/9m deep.
The hole is in the Skydome area of the museum and that section will remain closed to the public as officials continue to investigate the incident.
In a press release the museum said that none of the cars affected were on loan from individuals.
