Pull-ups, push-ups and sit-ups are on the up this year as cash-strapped gym bunnies go back to basics, according to a survey by the American College of Sports Medicine. Collectively known as body-weight training, the old-fashioned exercises cost nothing but help strengthen and tone your muscles.
In other good news, spinning finally dropped out of the top 20.
