Ireland West Airport Knock will broadcast its latest news and live events as they happen on a new online TV channel.
‘AirportTV', which it says is a first for an Irish airport, promises to offer an insight into "the day to day operations of a major international airport".
Regular monthly features will include passengers' travel experiences, holiday reviews of its 21 international destinations, and a showcase of food/gift producers and tourism providers from across the West of Ireland.
“We are often touched by the fascinating stories passengers have and what the airport means to them," said Donal Healy, Marketing Manager at Ireland West Airport.
"This airport has a very unique history and we felt it would be great to share some of these stories and other airport related insights on an ongoing basis through a dedicated online Airport TV channel."
The channel, airing both on airport screens, social media and online at irelandwestairport.com/airporttv, was developed in partnership with Galway's Norman Media.
700,000+ passengers use the airport annually, Healy said.
