Fresh from his Grand Tour series on RTE, Francis Brennan has launched his own bespoke Grand Tour of Kerry.

The tour, which will also feature his brother John, covers ring routes on the Beara and Iveagh peninsulas over three days in April.

Priced at €495pps, the package begins with check-in and dinner at the Park Hotel Kenmare on April 4, where Francis will conduct a welcome talk.

On April 5, breakfast is followed by a tour of the Ring of Kerry, with Francis promising insights "about the road and about himself" along the way.

A lunch stop in Sneem breaks up the 179km drive, before returning to Kenmare for dinner and overnight accommodation.

April 6 sees a tour of the Ring of Beara guided by John Brennan, a 137km route chosen as his own favourite place to visit from Kenmare.

Highlights include Glengarriff, the Caha Mountains, the Healy Pass and the former mining town of Allihies.

A farewell dinner and talk completes the package, which also includes a third night's accommodation before check-out the following day.

If the Grand Tour is a success, the Brennan Brothers told Travel, they will host two or three such packages a year.
