The question is whether Ibiza will again this year be the celebrity hotspot it was last year, and whether celebs such as Rita Ora, Liam Gallagher and Denise Van Outen will again make the Mediterranean island their number one summer destination. Other well-known faces who last year holidayed on the island, which is famous for its club scene, though considered to be one of the most stunningly beautiful islands in the Med, included Sherlock actor Benedict Cumberbatch, and footballer Peter Crouch along with his wife Abbey.

So what's so special about Ibiza? For starters, it's a small island where there are over 80 beaches within a half an hour's drive, and there's almost guaranteed sunshine every morning. The old town of Ibiza is widely recognised as being one of Europe's leading conserved medieval towns, and can easily be explored on foot.

In the 70s, Ibiza was the centre of the hippie movement in Europe, and though the hippies have moved on, the friendly vibe remains.
