We all look forward to getting away from it all, but the stress of travelling can take its toll. In this video special we run through top tips to ensure that your holiday will be stress-free.
A few days before you travel make sure to check your dates - many people turn up to the airport on the wrong day. Take a photocopy of your passport in case you lose it.
Make sure your house keys are on your person and ensure that your credit cards are not all kept in the same place. Also check that your tickets and passport are in your carry-on bag.
It's important to arrive at the airport at least 90 minutes before the stated check-in time. Upon arriving at the airport if you discover that your flight has been cancelled, make your way to your airline's nearest ticket desk. A representative should be able to give you relevant information on what to do from there.
"Make sure to take out travel insurance at the same time as you book your flight," says David Hughes, of www.Getcover.ie, "That way, you can be sure that you are covered for any eventualities, so you can enjoy your holiday."
Travel safe and enjoy your trip!
