Dublin You Are is is part of the Dublin2020 campaign to help the city win the European Capital of Culture 2020. The video is based around the words of poet Stephen James Smyth and captures the good, bad and unique aspects of the city.
The project came about in a collaborative manner between a number of Dublin-based artists, Dublin2020 and the ordinary people of Dublin who know it better than anyone else.
The video offers a visual and honest perspective of the city that's home to 40 Coats, Mary Dunne (the dancing woman on O'Connell Street), Brendan Behan, coddle, Guinness, Google, coddle, "hipster p****s' and the Liffey.
