Rashindo Chondo Das, Habiganj, Bangladesh. 'I came across a Sadhu (Hindu holy man),' says Rue Ahmed. As he walked closer to me I gingerly approached him, politely asked him his name in the local language and if he wouldn't mind posing for me. At this point a small crowd gathered around me out of curiosity thinking I was the media, jeering him, exclaiming that he'll be famous around the world after I'd taken his photo! With that I hurriedly snapped three photos of Mr Rashindo Chondo Das as the crowd around me was getting larger by the second, while a couple of hecklers were lending vocal instructions to him on how to pose, which was amusing to say the least! We then parted ways and almost a year to the day I ventured out again to search for him and present him with a copy of the photo; that is another tale & photo moment in itself!' Photo:

Wicklow Head lighthouse, Co. Wicklow. 'I took this photo in June 2017 on an extremely rare sunny weekend off work,' says Keith Walsh. 'Not only was it sunny at the weekend but the majestic Sea Pink flowers were in full bloom too, How lucky was I!! I won't mention the 4:30Am start to get this shot because there are too many positives to outweigh that one negative!' Photo: Keith Walsh (Topflight/Canon)
'Whilst on holiday in Munich this week myself and my family were walking down a street when we seen a crowd looking across a bridge,' says John Sheridan. "Impact" by Seán Haughton. 'With thousands of miles of ocean for storms to gather and brew, one of them is bound to unleash its full force upon our coastline. I had been planning a shot like this for some time and in the middle of Storms Doris & Ewan this year, it all came together. The swell was the highest I had ever seen along the Doolin Coastline, with waves breaching the cliffs which are at some places 50ft high.' Photo: Seán Haughton

'This was taken in one if my favourite places, Cinque Terre in Italy,' says Dave Massey. 'Cinque Terre means 'Five lands'. There are five small towns that make up this area and one of them is Vernazza, pictured above.'
'This is a photo of Lough Gur in Co. Limerick,' says Robert Wade. 'It was taken last Summer just after a thunderstorm had passed through and the evening sun lit up the sky.'

Seljalandsfoss Waterfall, Iceland. 'It was the highlight of my trip,' says Colm Keating. 'On one of the last stops of a two-week drive around the country, all the elements came together perfectly. I had planned this exact shot before I left for Iceland, but knowing the Icelandic weather, I knew I would be lucky to pull it off. And lucky I was.'
Keldur Church in Iceland. 'It is in a remote setting in south west Iceland with the central highlands in the distance,' says Robert Wade.

The Harpa concert hall in Reykjavík, Iceland. 'Located by the old Harbour, the design was influenced by Iceland's exceptional and dramatic nature.' says Iain Hulley. 'Situated on the boundary between land and sea, the building is a gleaming sculpture reflecting both sky and harbor, as well as the vibrant life of the city. The glass facade, which covers the entire building, was designed by renowned visual artist Olafur Eliasson.'
