Hate-stagramming is our latest questionable online behaviour. It's basically stalking the Instagrams of people you don't even like; the people you love to hate - it's irritating, yet oddly pleasurable. We pass many an hour railing against the bullshit quotes and the relentlessly dull snaps of feet on floors, and nut butters on toast.
Much research has been dedicated to proving that social media is making us more depressed, but we reckon the advent of hate-stagramming is going to change all that. Sure, on the surface, it seems like a terribly negative activity, but frankly, we can't help but come away from a session feeling refreshed and self-satisfied. It's a healthy injection of, "At least we're not that bad".
Model January Russell Winters, pictured, is someone we could never hate-stagram - she does a great line in interesting posts, without feeling compelled to update us on her every toast topping.
