We'll hit the 10 million mark – Toyota

TOYOTA nearly broke through the 10 million sales mark last year – and has promised to do so in 2014.
It kept its global number one position after beating General Motors and the Volkswagen group on vehicle sales in 2013.
More than one in 10 cars sold in 2013 were hybrids (1.3 million in all).
With 9.98 million vehicles sold it narrowly missed out on being the first automaker to break the 10 million barrier. GM came in with 9.71 million sales and VW at 9.7 million. It is tough and close at the top.
