VW gives Touran major makeover
VOLKSWAGEN has revamped its mid-size people carrier, the Touran.
The facelift embraces a new grille, front bumper, tail-lights, a new tailgate, fresh trim on the inside, dials and a centre console. Seven seats are standard (you can fold the third row into the floor for extra luggage space) and there are 39 storage compartments.
The Touran has been an understated but popular mid-size MPV for a considerable time now.
The revised engine range includes two diesels (1.6-litre TDI 105bhp and 2-litre TDI 140bhp). There is also a Touran TDI BlueMotion (105bhp).
The first models arrive in October. Prices and spec levels will be available nearer that time.
