Volkswagen has given its large Amarok pick-up an overhaul - and especially a 3-litre V6 diesel.
It is likely to be here later in the year.
The diesel will come with three power outputs: 161bhp, 201bhp and 221bhp.
The 3-litre has an 8spd automatic gearbox and a manual, while there are three potential drive options: rear-wheel drive and two versions of four-wheel drive (4MOTION).
The 161bhp version has, Volkswagen claims, emissions of around 199g/km.
The big pick-up also gets a lighter Servotronic steering which will be standard equipment.
Volkswagen say the system is one of the reasons the Amarok can be driven "very precisely". It also gets larger disc brakes.
Changes to the looks are barely noticeable - there's a new front bumper and headlight set-up, but also a new dashboard layout. Overall dimensions have not changed.
The changes are made as key rivals have just introduced, or are about to unveil, brand new versions of their models to the market.
These include the likes of the Mitsubishi L200, Nissan Navara and the Ford Ranger.
Toyota also will have its new Hilux on the market this year.
