Nose for hire: research job on emissions not to be sniffed at

I KID you not . . . Nissan has asked an expert to sniff around and find out what a car emissions-free world would smell like. It is a long way from April 1, so we must assume they are deadly serious.

They have asked world-renowned master perfumer and Aroma Academy scientist Dr George Dodd to create an "aromatic blueprint" of what the world could smell like with zero emissions (ZE).

Not only do they want the scent of a zero-emissions future but one "to induce a positive sense of well-being to the sniffer".
