MSL announces partnership with Hyundai including new showroom
Hyundai, Ireland's fastest-growing car brand, has been added to the portfolio of brands available at MSL -- which already includes Volkswagen, Mercedes-Benz and Mazda.
Commenting on the new partnership, Brendan Grace, MSL Group managing director, remarked: "In light of the brands ever-growing market share, it is clear that Hyundai is really striking a chord with Irish consumers. We are delighted to be in a position to bring Hyundai to MSL Grange & Park Motors."
In addition to the newly appointed Hyundai showroom, MSL now also offers Hyundai drivers authorised aftersales services at its service centres on Pottery Road, Dun Laoghaire, and the North Circular Road, Dublin 7.
Irishwoman added to world car jury
The Women's World Car of the Year jury has announced the appointment of Geraldine Herbert as the first Irish judge to the international voting panel for 2012 and beyond. Ms Herbert has been a motoring journalist for over 10 years and is currently the editor of Motoring Life, Ireland's longest-established motoring magazine.
On International Women's Day 2012, she launched www.wheeslforwomen.ie, Ireland's first motoring website for women. She is a jury member for the annual Irish Car of the Year awards and has written on a range of motoring issues for a number of publications. She is also a regular contributor on motoring matters to radio.
"I am honoured and excited to be part of the jury and applaud the voting criteria that is genuinely inspired by what women want to know before they buy a car," she said.
Ms Herbert said she has come to learn the "real" meaning of compromise by juggling a love of performance cars with the need for space, practicality and function.
CEO of Women's World Car of the Year Limited, Sandy Myhre of New Zealand, said the inclusion of an Irish judge adds an important international dimension to the awards.
