Skoda will bring out its own version of Volkswagen’s ‘Up’ city car later this year.
It is currently known as the ‘City Car’ and it will accompany a new small saloon aimed at filling a slot between the Fabia and Octavia for developing markets.
Major styling cues for both will be taken from the marque’s Vision D design concept revealed at the Geneva motor show in Switzerland.
Mercedes could increase the number of variants to its future A-Class and B Class model line ups.
Among those being mooted are a three-door version of the A-Class, a convertible or a shooting brake.
