IN what can only be described as an all-out assault on the premium end of the market, Mercedes-Benz has announced a 10pc price reduction on all passenger cars.
According to our sources ,the intention behind the price reduction is twofold: one, to maintain market impetus at the start of a new sales year, and, two, to give support to Irish dealers in their efforts to combat the effects of reduced currency values from the recent Brexit result.
This is sure to further bolster MB's continued success across all segments, with sales increasing by a whopping 44pc year on year. With several new models launched in 2016, including the E-Class, C-Class coupe and the GLC coupe, the savings will be significant.
Customers can shave off as much as €6,700 on the saloon, €5,000 on the coupe, and over €6,000 in the SUV range.
