KIA has just announced prices and specs for its new Sportage.
It goes on sale late this year but, realistically, is a January seller.
The 1.7D (115hp, Band B) EX starts at €27,800. Standard equipment includes panoramic sunroof, 17ins alloys, halfleather trim, privacy glass, cruise control and voice activated Bluetooth.
The GSE trim (€29,995) adds full leather-heated seats (in both front and rear), climate control and Xenon lights.
While these 1.7-litre D models are due to arrive in showrooms in December, they will be preceded in the middle of next month by a limited edition ‘First Edition’ version.
This is a 2-litre diesel allwheel-drive (136bhp) , which is priced at €31,495, with 18ins alloys.
Standard equipment includes ESC (electronic stability control), VSM (vehicle stability management), Hill start Assist Control, six airbags and active head restraints.
