Key Peugeot role for Emma
AT a number of car launches over the past years, the attendance could be judged by who was arranging the event. The highest numbers would often be seen at Peugeot gigs, mainly due to the very personable Emma Toner. Now Gowan distributors, the importer of Peugeot vehicles, parts and accessories in Ireland, has recognised Emma's all-round ability and appointed her as marketing manager for both vehicles and aftersales.
Emma previously held the position of communications manager and was responsible for handling all Peugeot product communications, advertising, PR and events. She played a key part in Peugeot, winning four Continental Irish Car of the Year awards in the past three years.
In her new role as marketing manager, Emma will be charged with growing the Peugeot profile in Ireland.
George Harbourne, managing director at Gowan distributors, said: "Emma's experience and comprehensive understanding of marketing tools and actions will undoubtedly benefit Peugeot, our sales network, and our customers."
Emma is a graduate from University of Ulster with a degree in European Business Studies and French. She is a member of the Irish Institute of Public Relations.
