Cannonball is a group of fun loving drivers who get together for a drive across Europe to raise money for charity. The Irish Cannonballers arrive back into Dublin Port on Friday June 20th at 19.00 after an epic 3,540km drive across Netherlands, Germany and Switzerland.
Cannonball started in Ireland six years ago in Ireland and has continued to make headlines in every country they visit.
The success of CANNONBALL Ireland, which is now the largest organized road trip in Europe, led to the founding of the Continental Cannonball event. Some of the top mark Cannonball cars such as Lamborghini, Ferrari, Aston Martin, McLaren, Porsche, Masseratti, Rolls Royce and Bentley now gear up every year to promote Cannonball Ireland across the continent.
Cannonball is the brainchild of AB Signs proprietor, Alan Bannon and is now in its 6th year and has successfully raised over €580,000 for Irish children's charities. The chosen 2014 charity is the Make a Wish Foundation.
