Amazing footage of French Director driving illegally 40 years ago

Claude Lelouch drove across Paris at an average speed of 75km/h!

Nearly forty years ago the French movie director Claude Lelouch released C'était un rendez-vous, the short brought us to Paris a depicts a Ferrari 275 GTB illegally roaring through the tight streets of Pairs at 5.30am, and ends at the Montmarte overlook adjacent to Sacré Coeur.

The route he drives is 10km long and the film is 8mins 39secs long which makes his average speed 75km/h and he had no permission to do any of this, there's no stunt people and the lights flashing at him are ordinary people just driving around.  The camera used is mounted on the bumper of a Mercedes-Benz 450SEL 6.9 and stabilized by gyroscope but where is the GTB gone?

Well he recorded the footage using the Mercedes and dubbed in the soundtrack from the Ferrari, you can see it in places where it goes out of sync. That doesn't detract from the Director driving across Paris at high speed and not getting permission for anything.
