VW give the Beetle a facelift

Volkswagen here have given the Beetle a bit of a revision - with some changes to the outside and cabin.
The old Sport version has been replaced by the R-Line, and there are tinted LED rear lights and new alloys.
The front is brightened with new instrument panels and dial and dash pad styling for the Design Line and R-Line.
As well as that, there are what they call 'contemporary style packages'.
The range starts with the 105bhp 1.2-litre TSI petrol.
With this you can have either a 6spd manual or 7spd DSG automatic transmission.
Then there is a 1.4-litre 150bhp TSI petrol (6spd/7spd DSG), a 2-litre 110bhp TDI diesel (5spd or 7spd) and 2.0-litre 150bhp TDI (6spd or 6spd DSG).
The little car with the famous name has three trim lines and, like so many motors these days, a long list of bits and pieces you can mix and match.
Prices start at €22,490 for the 105bhp 1.2-litre TSI.
For the Beetle 110bhp 2.0-litre TDI, prices start from €25,080.
