Suzuki recall; top guide launched
Suzuki is contacting owners of 30 new Celerio models here after a brake failure discovered on a test track in the UK.
They are giving owners substitute cars pending the outcome of an investigation into the cause of the brake failure.
The recall was decided upon after the failure of brakes to stop the cars. Testers had to use engine braking, using the gears, and strategic use of the handbrakes during the test. Sales of the new model have been temporarily suspended.
The 2015 edition of Motorshow Car Buyers' Guide hit the news stands last week.
This premium annual publication assists buyers with no-nonsense verdicts on every new car, while the 'Worth Waiting For' section in Motorshow 2015 aims to provide all the up-to-date information needed when shopping for a new car, including the definitive list of cars coming to the Irish market over the next year or so.
The guide also has the most accurate new car price list available in Ireland, complete with CO2 ratings.
The verdicts tell it as it is on each model, warts and all.
Safety too is a major priority, so the results of every new car ever crash tested in Europe are included.
Copies of the annual guide are available at all good newsagents.
