Renault's latest crossover, the Kadjar, due here by late summer
RENAULT'S rival for the Nissan Qashqai will be here by late summer.
The Kadjar will have 4x2 and 4x4 versions.
It will have LED headlights and high-tech specification elements, they say. And it will use a lot of bits and pieces from the Qashqai - in other words it will be built on the Renault-Nissan Alliance CMF platform.
Larger than the successful Captur it is 4.45m long, 1.84m wide and 1.6m tall.
There will be the usual line up of engines with the 1.5dCi diesel and 1.2-litre petrol no doubt contributing heavily.
It has 190mm ground clearance - as well as skid plates front and rear to protect the underbody.
Crossovers now account for nearly one-in-five of all vehicles sold globally.
