PCPs blur lines between buying new or used car

People are wavering more on whether to buy a new or used car as PCP deals increasingly blur the lines.

The views of more than 1,000 motorists were tracked by Auto Trader in the UK between April and June. Nearly three-quarters (72pc) of those who had recently bought a used car had considered new as well. And 75pc of those who had bought new had considered second-hand.

This seems to indicate how the new-car market is increasingly driven by PCP deals where monthly payments, rather than price is the key.

Would you dither on new or used?
