IF nothing takes your fancy for the 151 plate you could wait to see what the International Motor Show in Geneva has to offer next week. Here's a sneaky peek at what's coming in the next couple of months - just in time for the 152 registration.

Ford Mustang: The all-new Ford Mustang is to go on sale in Ireland for the first time, and Fastback and convertible models will be offered equipped with Ford's new 2.3-litre EcoBoost engine, and the latest generation of Ford's legendary 5.0-litre V8.

Ford also confirmed it will be launching a new Focus RS. The 30th RS model produced by Ford since 1967 will be the first to go on sale globally. Also in the pipeline is the S-Max people carrier - king of the seven-seaters CIVIC Type R: Boy racers will be foaming at the mouth when the new Honda Type R rockets on to our shores later this year. The car that stole the Paris Motor Show last year will be the most extreme and high-performing Type R in the 22-year history of the red 'H' badge - banging out an awesome 280bhp.

The all-new Civic Type R has been developed and engineered for European drivers and will be built at Honda's state-of-the-art plant in Swindon, UK, arriving in dealerships in weeks.Kia Sorento: We got up close to the new Kia Sorento last year and the Korean SUV will feature a striking, more mature appearance, with bold, swept-back styling and sophisticated surface detailing. It's here in a matter of weeks.

Longer, lower and wider, with an extended wheelbase, the new Sorento builds on the success of the current model, delivering a premium look and feel, with more space and numerous innovative features.

Also is transit is the much-awaited Volvo XC90, the sumptuous Audi A7, new Skoda Superb (the most luxurious ever), the Honda HR-V, Jaguar's compact executive model the XE and last but not least, the mega impressive Skoda Fabia Combi.
