MAZDA have announced prices and some details - not too many - of two imminent arrivals.
Their new compact crossover CX-3, which is based on the '2' supermini platform, gets here next month.
The car, pictured, will cost from €20,695 to €31,595 ex-works.
Most people will opt for a front-wheel drive but, as there seems to be growing demand for it, their all-wheel drive system could resonate with buyers too.
Two engines, a 120bhp petrol and 120bhp diesel provide the power.
And there's a choice of manual and automatic transmissions.
There are four grades: SE, Executive, Executive-SE and GT.
Main rivals for the CX-3 include the Renault Captur, Opel Mokka, Peugeot 2008 and Nissan Juke.
It will be interesting to see how people respond to it in a segment the experts expect to grow exponentially for the foreseeable future.
Meanwhile, the new MX-5 roadster is scheduled to arrive in August and ex-works prices will range from €27,995 to €29,995.
It will have a 1.5-litre petrol engine (131PS) and come in two grades: Roadster and Roadster GT.
Standard will be LED headlights, alloys and a 6spd gearbox. Which is not telling us an awful lot.
Anyway, this has always been a cute little roadster but as it doesn't get here until August it is likely to miss out on the anticipated big July buying spree.
