Kia's new third generation Sorento really grows up
KIA'S brand new Sorento will be officially revealed shortly and is likely to be here for the 151-reg market.
This is the third generation of what has been a well-liked SUV over the years. It will be first shown in Korea next month. From what this picture of it reveals it has a higher waist-line and a lower roof.
It also looks beefier and larger than the current model as it sets about competing with the likes of Nissan's X-trail for buyers.
It was crafted at Kia's design studios in Korea, Germany and the US and is pencilled in for its European premiere at the Paris Motor Show in October.
We have no word on engines yet but it could be that they will revise and carry over the current 2.2-litre CRDi (194bhp).
There have been suggestions they might make a hybrid, linking a 2.3-litre 4cyl petrol with an electric motor.
